Anti-Trump Meryl Streep Has Gotten The WORST News Of Her Career
Meryl Streep is one of those people that just can’t seem to ever get off of her moral high horse. She’s one of those people that at the end of the day you just can’t take anything she says seriously.
She’s one of those people that finds people that she doesn’t agree with and tries to mock them for things that have nothing to do with anything.
If you recall, it was last year that she gave that speech where she denigrated Trump supporters by saying all that they were are people that watched mixed martial arts and so on.
Then adding with that damn scoff in her voice that it wasn’t really the arts.
Well, if that’s the case than stop calling it a liberal arts degree. I know people on both sides of the aisle that are into MMA and some that actually fight from time to time.
That is a skill and any skill put into practice is by definition an art.
Meryl Streep is a great actress. We won’t dispute that. But her biggest claim to fame over the past year has been taking very public swipes at President Trump.
Riding a moral high horse, Streep used both the Golden Globes and the Oscars as platforms to attack Trump, among other things, for his alleged misogyny.
Now we learn that Streep herself did FAR more to harm young girls and damage women’s rights than what Trump’s accused of doing.
She did so by befriending and supporting Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein despite, according to her detractors, knowing all along that he was sexually harassing and raping young would-be female movie stars.
And Streep’s now being called out on her incredibly hypocrisy.
All around Hollywood and other parts of California, posters have gone up showing Streep standing next to Weinstein with a huge smile on her face. Superimposed over the legendary actress’ eyes are the words “She Knew.”
The posters are a response to Streep’s passionate denials that she was aware of Weinstein’s grotesque behavior, despite being his close friend and confidante for decades.
What we’re left with is either that Streep is lying, or that she’s an enormously dense and unperceptive person whose ranting on other issues, say like presidential policy, should be utterly ignored, if not scorned.
